The program provides loans up to\n$750,000 at 2% interest to airports with less than 75,000 annual commercial\nenplanements, as reported to the FAA. Loans can have a maximum 20-year loan\nperiod and recipients can opt to have up to a 3-year loan repayment grace\nperiod. Loan recipients must commit to provide public access to the airport for\na period of time equivalent to one and one-half times the term of the loan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible projects can include hangars, fueling facilities,\nbusiness parks on airport property, paid parking facilities, passenger\namenities, and other revenue-generating or cost-cutting developments.
