{"id":21954,"date":"2022-05-04T12:47:10","date_gmt":"2022-05-04T12:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=21954"},"modified":"2022-05-04T12:47:12","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T12:47:12","slug":"ibac-partners-with-unmanned-safety-institute-usi-for-rpas-auditor-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/ibac-partners-with-unmanned-safety-institute-usi-for-rpas-auditor-training\/%20","title":{"rendered":"IBAC Partners with Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) for RPAS Auditor Training"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the\nUnmanned Safety Institute have announced plans to develop and implement the\nInternational Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Remotely\nPiloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) auditor training program.&nbsp; Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems are quickly\nbecoming part of existing business aviation operations, or as completely new\naviation programs for many companies around the world.&nbsp; In recognition of this growing segment within\nthe business aviation marketplace, IBAC is adapting its safety standard and\naudit program to ensure that it will be relevant and applicable to RPAS\noperations now and in the future.&nbsp;\nProfessionally trained and credentialed auditors will be critical to\ninternal and external assessments of RPAS programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe business aviation industry is filled with highly\nexperienced and knowledgeable operations and maintenance personnel coming from\ntraditional piloted aircraft backgrounds.
