Additionally, the new\ntextbook will be used as part of USI\u2019s offering to the academic marketplace,\nspecifically for those collegiate programs who are building either two-year or\nfour-year degree programs for their UAS students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUSI takes great pride in being a thought leader for the UAS\nmarketplace,\u201d remarked Josh Olds, USI President and CEO. Olds added \u201cA\nsuccessful commercial UAS program must deliver a return on investment for the\noperator. If an operation isn\u2019t built on top of a strong safety, legal, and\nrisk-based foundation, the entire UAS program is putting that ROI in jeopardy\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USI contracted with USAF Col (Retired) Dawn Zoldi, Esq. to\nauthor the new textbook. Ms. Zoldi, through her company P3 Tech Consulting, is\nfeaturing the new textbook in a workshop that she is producing and hosting at\nXPonential 2022 titled \u201cLaw Tech Connect Workshop\u201d. The Workshop is a\nFlorida-bar CLE accredited educational event designed to elevate the attendee\u2019s\nlegal, regulatory and policy knowledge related to UAS, autonomy, and advanced\nair mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Zoldi had this to say about USI\u2019s Unmanned Aircraft\nSystems \u2013 Legal and Business Considerations textbook, \u201cThere is no other\nresource in the marketplace like this textbook.
