This one day open house hosted 8,000 plus visitors to the airport from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and all had a great time.<\/p>\n<p>This year featured operations and flybys of the Royal Canadian Air force Training Squadron 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School, jet dragster demonstrations, rides in a Commemorative Air Force World War Two B-25 Mitchell bomber, numerous flybys of different types of general aviation aircraft and many other activities. Civil Air Patrol, a number of aviation universities, medical transport aircraft, Experimental Aircraft Association, 99s light sport operators many different nonprofit community organizations and others were part of the day.<\/p>\n<p>The airport ramp was an eclectic mixture of aircraft, boats, RVs, ATVs, hot rods, classic cars, model aircraft, motorcycles and other toys. 80 vendors were on site selling their wares, 10 food vendors providing breakfast, lunch and snacks, 3 beer providers, 3 flight simulators and normal airport operations.<br \/>\n<!--break--><br \/>\nGiven all of the businesses on site selling a range of products from cars to hand cream the estimated amount of business conducted was in the range of $150,000.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\\wp-content\\uploads\/QR0S0839edit.jpg\" align=\"left\" width=\"245\" height=\"175\" alt=\"QR0S0839edit.jpg\" \/> The continuing success of this event is due in large part to the collaborative efforts of Murphy Broadcasting, Lake Havasu City and the Wings Wheels and Waves group who all come together to host the event. The unique nature of this event with inclusion of a wide range of  items\/activities not normally a part of airport operations.
