(Photo curtesy of FAA) <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a visit to Denton Enterprise Airport, Acting FAA Administrator Billy Nolen highlighted funding coming the airport\u2019s way as part of President Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/bil\">Bipartisan Infrastructure Law<\/a> that provides a once-in-a-generation investment in communities across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGeneral aviation airports are vital to this community and\nto communities throughout our nation. They are where pilots get trained,\nemergency medical services take off and land, and in many cases where young\npeople are introduced to flying for the very first time,\u201d Acting Administrator\nNolen said while visiting the airport. \u201cDenton County continues its rapid\ngrowth, and it\u2019s essential we support its growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denton Enterprise Airport is set to receive $763,000 through\nthe law in fiscal year 2022. This program allows investments in runways,\ntaxiways and safety and sustainability projects, as well as terminal,\nairport-transit connections and roadway projects. The airport is home to two\nflight training schools and one aircraft maintenance and repair school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was great spending time with Acting FAA Administrator\nBilly Nolan talking about Denton Enterprise Airport,\u201d said Scott Gray, Airport\n&amp; Facilities Director for the City of Denton. Gray said it was a pleasure\nhosting Nolan during his visit to Texas. \u201cWe look forward to working with the\nFAA and continuing to improve our valuable Airport to serve the Metroplex,\u201d\nnoted Gray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Biden\u2019s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is sending\nhistoric investments to revitalize and rebuild small and municipal communities\nacross the country. Supporting Americans living in these areas remains a top\npriority for the Biden Administration, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law\ndelivers on the President\u2019s promises to provide affordable high-speed Internet,\nsafe roads and bridges, clean drinking water, modern wastewater systems,\nreliable and affordable electricity, and good-paying jobs in every community.\nThe Bipartisan Infrastructure Law invests $20 billion in the nation\u2019s airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this effort, the Biden Administration is also\ncommitted to working with communities to help them access federal resources and\nimproving transparency.
