{"id":21626,"date":"2022-04-11T16:27:16","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T16:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=21626"},"modified":"2022-04-11T16:27:19","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T16:27:19","slug":"adacel-receives-order-from-dsna-for-new-atm-system-in-martinique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/adacel-receives-order-from-dsna-for-new-atm-system-in-martinique\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Adacel Receives Order from DSNA for New ATM System in Martinique"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Adacel Technologies Limited (Adacel) has confirmed a new ATM\nsystem order from the Direction des Services de la Navigation A\u00e9rienne (DSNA),\nthe French Air Navigation Service Provider, as part of the 2017 contract for\nthe \u201cAcquisition et maintenance du syst\u00c3\u00a8me de contr\u00f4le a\u00e9rien des Antilles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new order, valued at over USD$2.1 million, Adacel\nwill deploy its latest Aurora Air Traffic Management (ATM) system and conduct a\nfull safety assessment for the Fort de France Airport in Martinique, with an\nestimated deployment in the second half of FY2023. This system includes\nAdacel\u2019s Aeronautical Auxiliary Information Display (AAID) and a surveillance\ntraining solution that integrates Adacel\u2019s MaxSim training simulator with the\nAurora ATM solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been working side-by-side with our colleagues at\nDSNA since 2015 and are pleased to have successfully deployed new systems in\nFrench Guiana and Guadeloupe,\u201d shared Daniel Verret, Adacel\u2019s CEO. \u201cTogether,\nwe are modernizing the airspace management in West Indies as proud participants\nin DSNA\u2019s SEAFLIGHT program. We look forward to future collaborations and\nsupporting our customer as needs and technologies evolve,\u201d continues Mr.\nVerret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2015, DSNA awarded Adacel its first contract for a new\nATM system in French Guiana. That system was delivered to the Cayenne-F\u00e9lix\nEbou\u00e9 Centre and successfully commenced operational service in 2016. As part of\nthe second contract signed in 2017, Adacel developed and deployed new air\ntraffic management and training systems in Pointe-\u00c3\u00a0-Pitre, Guadeloupe, which\nare currently undergoing final in-service verification (V\u00e9rification en service\nr\u00e9gulier&#8211;VSR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this order, Adacel is pleased to report that over 97%\nof its forecasted revenues for FY2022 are either booked or in backlog.
