Through his tenure with the\nColumbus Regional Airport Authority, where he worked for more than 30 years,\nGotschall managed the Runway 10R-28L replacement program that made John Glenn\nColumbus International the first commercial airport in the country to go to an\nall-LED runway lighting system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWoolpert has a reputation for providing a wide variety of\nservices in the airport environment, from architecture and engineering to\ngeospatial and consulting work,\u201d Gotschall said. \u201cThe teams here understand the\nbigger picture and know how to evaluate and improve an airport from all\nperspectives. I\u2019m excited to work with Woolpert to help commercial and general\naviation airports expand intelligently so they can solve both current and\nfuture problems.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul Strack, who leads Woolpert\u2019s aviation design practice\nin Ohio, said the firm is excited to offer Gotschall\u2019s airfield project\nmanagement, design and construction expertise to current and future clients, as\nwell as his assistance with FAA and state of Ohio grants, public bidding and\ncapital project programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDave is well known and well respected throughout Ohio for\ngood reason, and he will help build relationships and expand the firm\u2019s\naviation services in the Midwest,\u201d Strack said. \u201cIn addition to his many years\nat the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, he has also worked in the general\naviation and private industry arenas.
