After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic,\nPhoenix Sky Harbor International Airport looks forward to welcoming Condor\nAirlines back to Phoenix. Beginning May 21, Condor Airlines will resume its\nnonstop Phoenix-Frankfurt flight. The service will operate two days a week from\nMay through September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condor, which began nonstop seasonal service from Phoenix in\nMay 2018, saw strong demand in 2018 and 2019 prior to the onset of the\npandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCondor\u2019s return to Phoenix continues an important return to\ntravel and we look forward to welcoming more international visitors,\u201d said\nPhoenix Mayor Kate Gallego. \u201cDirect, non-stop flights to Frankfurt offer our\ncommunity more access and easy connections to Europe. This flight adds a vital\nboost to our economy as international flights to Phoenix bring in approximately\n$3 billion each year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condor Airlines will operate the flight with a Boeing\n767-300ER. This aircraft features more than 250 seats. All passengers will\nreceive complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals, and in-flight\nentertainment at each seat. At least 18 seats in Business Class feature\ncomfortable and adjustable reclining seats, a 15\u201d personal in-seat premium\nentertainment system, power and USB ports, and gourmet meals with complimentary\nbeer, wine and cocktails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Flights will run on Thursdays and Saturdays. The Frankfurt\nflight will depart at 3:30 p.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 6:35 p.m. The Phoenix\nflight will depart at 8:45 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt at 4:50 p.m. the next\nday.  The flights will provide both\nleisure and business travelers a convenient option to getting to and from\nEurope. The return of service to Frankfurt is in addition to British Airways returning its nonstop London Heathrow flights. American Airlines will resume its nonstop London flight in April.
