Last May, Young joined with House T&I Committee Aviation\nSubcommittee Chairman Rick Larsen (D-2-WA) and Rep. Angie Craig (D-2-MN) to\nreintroduce the NBAA-supported measure, which was signed into law by President\nJoe Biden in November 2021 as part of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment\nand Jobs Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Young served as chairman of the House Committee on\nTransportation and Infrastructure from 2001-2007 and was a longtime member of\nthe committee\u2019s aviation subcommittee. Among Young\u2019s other accomplishments was\nsecuring passage of H.R. 2115, the \u201cVision 100 \u2013 The Century of Aviation\nReauthorization Act,\u201d which was signed into law in December 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
