Industry veteran Todd Young has been appointed as a\nnon-executive member of the Advisory Board of Canada\u2019s Marsh Brothers Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Young will tap into his extensive executive level\nexperience with Bombardier and De Haviland Canada to help leverage the\ncompany\u2019s position across regional and global aviation markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marsh Brothers Aviation Chairman Sandy Thomson said: \u201cWe are\ndelighted that Todd has accepted our invitation to join the Advisory Board.\nWith his 35-plus years\u2019 experience in the sector, Todd is perfectly aligned\nwith our growth plans and will assist in expanding Marsh Brothers\u2019 global\npresence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating as a mechanical engineer in 1986, Todd\nYoung joined Bombardier Aerospace where he designed fuselage components for the\nDash 8 Series 100 and 300 aircraft. Following a number of roles, he was\nappointed Vice President, Customer Service and Support for all Bombardier\nCommercial Aircraft Products, before transitioning to De Havilland Aircraft,\nCanada, as its Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, he set up Young Aerospace Group Ltd and is now\nworking with a number of aviation companies, including Marsh Brothers Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicholas Choo-Son, Director of Business Development, Marsh\nBrothers Aviation, said: \u201cTodd is a highly regarded and respected aviation\nindustry professional. His industry expertise, knowledge and network across the\nbusiness jet and turboprop market segments will allow us to access new markets\nand meet our growth strategy targets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marsh Brothers Aviation, based in Burlington, Ontario,\nCanada, designs and manufactures high performance self-lubricating bushings,\nbearings and seals for aircraft landing gear, flight controls and actuation\nsystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
