These pilots\nreceived a polo shirt embroidered with the North Dakota Flying Legacy logo. The\nbronze award recipients were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Patrick Howell \u2013 Omaha, NE<\/li><li>Thomas Sando \u2013 Williston, ND<\/li><li>Jeff Zarling \u2013 Williston, ND<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One pilot was presented with the silver award for visiting\nat least sixty airports, one air museum and attending two safety seminars. This\npilot received a flight bag embroidered with the North Dakota Flying Legacy\nlogo. The Silver award recipient was:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kai Engstrom \u2013 Bismarck, ND<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most prestigious gold award level was achieved by thirteen pilots during 2021. These pilots received a leather flight jacket embroidered with the North Dakota Flying Legacy logo in addition to the bronze and silver awards.<a> <\/a>This prestigious accomplishment is achieved when visiting all 89 public-use airports in North Dakota, visiting both air museums and attending at least 3 FAA Safety seminars. These pilots join the seventy-eight others who have completed the passport program in previous years, making a total of Ninety-One total pilots who have achieved the gold award level to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is a list of the thirteen individuals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Greg Clabots \u2013 Green Bay, WI<\/li><li>Maria Cole \u2013 Ellsworth, WI<\/li><li>Kevin Deutscher \u2013 Tempe, AZ<\/li><li>Taylor Exizidis-Meier \u2013 Fargo, ND<\/li><li>Patrick Haye &#8211;&nbsp;\nMinot, ND<\/li><li>Steven M. Jensen \u2013 Tioga, ND<\/li><li>Ari Johnson \u2013 Watford City, ND<\/li><li>Russell Kinneberg \u2013 Plymouth, MN<\/li><li>Greg Malkowsky \u2013 OshKosh, WI<\/li><li>Steve Martens \u2013 Stanley, ND<\/li><li>Bob Simmers \u2013 Bismarck, ND<\/li><li>Robert Sprague \u2013 Courtnay, ND<\/li><li>Ethan Sprague &#8211; Courtnay, ND<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards presentation was conducted at the Fargo Air Museum in Fargo, ND, in conjunction with the North Dakota Aviation Association Fly-ND Conference. Presenting the awards were Kyle Wanner, Executive Director and Mike McHugh, Aviation Education Coordinator of the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission and Justin Weninger of the North Dakota Aviation Association.
