A total of $100M is\nbeing offered through reimbursable grants to the eight public-owned commercial\nservice airports in Iowa as identified in the 2020 Iowa Aviation System Plan.\nThis programming provides vital funding for vertical infrastructure projects\nnecessary to support and grow Iowa\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commercial airports may apply for funding based on formula, with 10% split evenly between the eight commercial service airports in Iowa, and the additional amount allocated based on 2019 passenger enplanements. There is no local match requirement, but local funds are encouraged to leverage projects.
