Today, the National Association of State Aviation Officials\n(NASAO), in partnership with National Aeronautic Association, announced the\nnames of winners of the 2022 U.S. Youth Aviation Art Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior Second Place – Ella Ratliff <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This year, NASAO received over 160 pieces of art from 15\nparticipating states. The annual contest is part of a larger international\neffort to inspire youth to illustrate the importance of aviation through art.\nContest submissions were grouped into three separate age categories for\njudging, allowing students ranging from 6 \u2013 17 years old to compete. The 2022\ntheme was \u201cDesign your perfect Aircraft\u201d which encouraged students to create\nunique artwork featuring aircrafts drawn from their imagination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To qualify for the national contest, all artwork was first\nsubmitted into state-level competitions, with the winning entries advancing for\nnational consideration. The national winners have been submitted for the 2022\nInternational Aviation Art Contest, which will be judged in June by the\nF\u00e9d\u00e9ration A\u00e9ronautique Internationale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
