Jenny grew up in the business aviation industry with\nfamily-owned Showalter Flying Service centered around FBO services and aircraft\nsales in central Florida. This rich 75-year aviation history goes back to the\noriginal Showalter Airpark developed in 1945 by Jenny\u2019s grandfather, uncle, and\ntheir partner after WWII. Eventually, Showalter Flying Service at the Orlando\nExecutive (ORL) airport became the family\u2019s legacy that endured and prospered\nfor more than six decades and became internationally recognized for hosting\nnine NBAA Conventions from 1996-2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After earning her BA degree in History and Spanish from\nRollins College in Orlando, Jenny worked in the family business for more than\n18 years. She excelled in her role as Director of First Impressions and led the\nFBO\u2019s renowned customer service. Jenny\nhas actively given back to the industry in several ways. She was chairperson\nand committee member for the Schedulers and Dispatchers Committee for ten\nyears, the marketing and communications manager, and later executive director\nand board member for Florida Aviation Business Association (FABA). She also\nhelped launch the Central Florida Business Aviation Association CFBAA in 2019\nas a founding board member and secretary and currently serves on the NBAA Local\nand Regional Groups Committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most recently, Jenny worked as Client Services Manager for a\nmajor business aviation recruitment firm. She helped clients navigate the\nrapidly evolving aviation job market, match talent with corporate flight\ndepartment clients, and led the outplacement program for displaced aviation\nprofessionals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy passion for people and business aviation evolved from my\nfamily history and our dedication to this industry,\u201d Jenny added. \u201cMy ability\nto maintain confidentiality is paramount, and I look forward to helping people\nthat may feel stuck in their current role, at a crossroad in their career, or\ncaught up in a downsizing, merger, or acquisition.
