For the past 5-years Colleran has served as\nthe Director of Business Development at Redbird Flight Simulations. Prior to Redbird, Colleran served for almost\n9-years at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) as the Director of\nGovernment Affairs. Her professional\ncareer began as a Legislative Assistant for the Texas House of Representatives\nwhere she was later appointed Chief of Staff for the Texas Speaker of the\nHouse, James E. \u201cPete\u201d Laney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A certified private pilot (land and sea), Colleran holds a\ndegree in Public Relations from Texas Tech University and an Airport\nCertification (CM) from the American Association of Airport Executives. In 2021 she was appointed by the Secretary of\nTransportation to the USDOT FAA Access to American Jobs in Aviation Task\nForce. Colleran is the Industry\nRelations Chair of the University Aviation Association (UAA) National Board, as\nwell as the Mentoring Committee Chair for the International Aviation Women\u2019s\nAssociation (IAWA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
