{"id":21015,"date":"2022-02-21T17:36:53","date_gmt":"2022-02-21T17:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=21015"},"modified":"2022-02-21T17:36:55","modified_gmt":"2022-02-21T17:36:55","slug":"nbaas-75th-anniversary-year-will-highlight-historic-moments-to-inspire-future-generations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/district-of-columbia\/nbaas-75th-anniversary-year-will-highlight-historic-moments-to-inspire-future-generations\/%20","title":{"rendered":"NBAA\u2019s 75th Anniversary Year Will Highlight Historic Moments to Inspire Future Generations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), which was\nfounded last week in 1947, begins celebrating its 75th anniversary as the\nleading advocate for business aviation with a series of initiatives designed\nnot only to recognize the milestones marking the industry\u2019s pioneering spirit,\nbut to inspire the next generation of leaders to be a part of the business\naviation community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis anniversary year offers an opportunity for everyone to\ntake part in telling our industry\u2019s story of innovation and achievement, so\nthat business aviation is even stronger seven decades from today,\u201d said NBAA\nPresident and CEO Ed Bolen. \u201cEverything we do will be focused on engaging our\ncommunity to be a part of this exciting story.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anniversary kicks off today with a \u201cThrowback Thursday\u201d\nseries on the association\u2019s social media platforms, showcasing the trailblazing\nleaders and legends who have shaped the world-leading industry that is business\naviation today. A special hashtag, #NBAA75, can be used to take part in the\nconversation, and follow all of NBAA\u2019s 75th anniversary initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A variety of other celebratory initiatives will follow,\nculminating at the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention &amp; Exhibition\n(NBAA-BACE), which will be held Oct. 18\u201320 in Orlando, FL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its incorporation on Feb. 13, 1947, as the Corporation\nAircraft Owners Association, NBAA has worked to foster an environment in which\nbusiness aviation can thrive.
