Maverick Helicopters is pleased to announce it has been\nawarded the Federal Aviation Administration\u2019s (FAA) 2021 Award of Excellence\n\u201cDiamond Award.\u201d The prestigious honor is the highest recognition by the\nFederal Aviation Administration for maintenance technicians and is a result of\nthe company\u2019s ongoing dedication to maintenance, training and aircraft safety.\nThis is Maverick Helicopters\u2019 11th consecutive year earning the Diamond Award\nfor its Las Vegas and Grand Canyon South Rim locations and the seventh\nconsecutive award for its Hawaii operations in Maui and Kauai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo receive the FAA\u2019s highest honor, the Diamond Award of\nExcellence, for the 11th year in a row, is a true testament to Maverick\nHelicopters\u2019 rigorous training standards and unwavering commitment to aircraft\nsafety\u201d said John Buch, president of Maverick Helicopters. \u201cWe are honored to\nbe recognized by our peers for this award, and I am so proud of our team\u2019s\ncontinued efforts to remain leaders in the helicopter industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FAA\u2019s Award of Excellence was created to recognize\naviation operators for participating in the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician\nAwards Program. The rigorous program encourages employers to participate in\ncontinuous learning training programs in aviation maintenance, regulations, and\nFAA rules. Each participating organization can receive honors ranging from the\n\u201cGold Award\u201d to the \u201cDiamond Award.\u201d The \u201cDiamond Award\u201d is only awarded to a\nselect few operators that have reached the highest level of program criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of Maverick Helicopters\u2019 eligible technicians were recognized\nwith individual awards through their continued education. In 2021, Maverick\ntechnicians completed nearly 2,000 hours of training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
