DroneUp, LLC has announced the appointment of Eric Grubman,\nformer executive vice president of the National Football League (NFL) and\ncurrent chairman of SGHC Limited (“SGHC,\u201d or \u201cSuper Group”), as the\ncompany\u2019s new chairman of the board. Grubman will bring decades of financial\nand business operations experience to DroneUp\u2019s fast-growing company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Grubman has served in various capacities as an advisor\nand as a senior executive across multiple industries for decades. After serving\nin the Navy, he began his private-sector career within the Mergers &\nAcquisitions Department of Goldman, Sachs & Company beginning in 1987. He\nwas elected Partner in 1996 and became co-head of the worldwide Energy &\nPower Group. He also spearheaded the formation of Goldman\u2019s strategic advisory\nefforts within Professional Sports. In 1999, he became co-President of\nConstellation Energy Group. After retirement from Constellation, he joined the\nNational Football League in 2004 as Executive Vice President. He became\nChairman of On Location Experiences until its sale in 2020. After that, he\nco-founded and served as chairman of Sports Entertainment Acquisition\nCorporation until its merger with SGHC Limited in 2022. Mr. Grubman currently\nserves as Chairman of SGHC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
