EHang Holdings Limited announced that AirX Inc., a Japanese\nair mobility digital platform company, has placed a pre-order for 50 units of\nthe EH216 AAV, marking the biggest pre-order EHang has received in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This reflects the growing recognition of EHang\u2019s\ncutting-edge autonomous aircrafts in the industry. The pre-order of the EH216\nAAVs are planned to facilitate various Urban Air Mobility (\u201cUAM\u201d) projects in\nJapan and may provide “air taxi” services for the 2025 World Expo in\nOsaka, Kansai, Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the leading helicopter service platform provider in\nJapan, AirX has developed and operated reservation platforms for more than 100\nhelicopter sightseeing operating routes and private helicopter charters.\nAnnually, the AirX platform can book over 2,000 helicopter sightseeing flights\nthroughout Japan and over 200 chartered flights. Since establishment, AirX has\nserved over 15,000 chartered flight customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
