This event is a professional career conference\n(for women only) designed to introduce women to aviation and promote\nnetworking, education, and scholarships while building up the aviation\ncommunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Final-WACS_Flyer-2022.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20650\" width=\"333\" height=\"431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Final-WACS_Flyer-2022.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Final-WACS_Flyer-2022-232x300.jpg 232w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one thing to tell women to pursue their dreams, it\u2019s\nanother thing to help them get there,\u201d said Helen Hagg, Co-Founder of WACS,\n\u201cWith industry experts, aviation panelists, and scholarship dollars, our goal\nis to be a resource for women and provide them the tools to make their future\nin aviation possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over $10,000 is available in scholarship funds for flight\ntraining, maintenance training, aerospace engineering, and general aviation\neducation. Women can apply at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinyurl.com\/wacs2022scholarshipapp\">www.tinyurl.com\/wacs2022scholarshipapp<\/a>.\nApplications due January 22, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WACS attendees will be able to listen to panelists share\ntheir experiences in the field, explore different types of aircraft and tour\nthe school, have fun flying a Cirrus simulator and drones, and attend a job and\nresume workshop. In the exhibit hall, attendees have the opportunity to network\nwith industry professionals and connect with aviation schools.
