He is\nproactive in his approach to member outreach and always has a finger on the\npulse of what is happening in the industry. His leadership skills, industry\nknowledge, and can-do spirit make him an ideal Executive Vice President. We are\npleased to watch Ryan and our Association programs continue to grow as he takes\non his expanded role in the new year,\u201d stated NATA President and CEO Timothy\nObitts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waguespack joined the NATA leadership team in November 2018\nas Senior Vice President of Aircraft Management, Air Charter Services and MROs\n\u2013 advancing a number of programs and efforts, including leading the charge in\nhelping to end worldwide illegal charter activities, raising awareness of the\nvalue of aviation businesses to communities surrounding GA airports, overseeing\nthe expansion of NATA\u2019s training program platform across multiple industry\nsegments, and assisting hundreds of aviation businesses navigate financial and\nregulatory relief programs throughout a time of great need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Executive Vice President, Waguespack will continue to\nlead NATA\u2019s strategic flow of regulatory, industry, and member outreach efforts\nand programs, while taking on additional responsibility for safety program\ndevelopment and increasing NATA\u2019s focus on helping our industry forecast and\nprepare for the future of flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to NATA, Waguespack held the position of vice\npresident of business development at Summit Aviation and served in various\nbusiness development roles for charter and management operations, as well as\naircraft sales.
