Previously, Amalfitano served as Vice\nChair and chair of the Communication Committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Eric-Hinson-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20469\" width=\"80\" height=\"108\"\/><figcaption><em>Eric Hinson<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Eric Hinson, CEO at SimCom International, will serve as Vice\nChair. Previously Hinson served as chair of the Safety and Accident\nInvestigation Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Nicolas-Chabbert-1-200x300edit-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20470\" width=\"76\" height=\"111\"\/><figcaption><em>Nicolas Chabbert<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of Daher\u2019s Aircraft\nDivision and CEO of Daher Aircraft and Kodiak Aircraft will serve as Immediate\nPast Chair. Chabbert served as GAMA\u2019s 2021 Chair of the Board and previously\nchaired the Safety and Accident Investigation Committee.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Baker, Founder of FlightAware and Strategic Advisor\nto Collins Aerospace, will serve as chair of the Safety and Accident\nInvestigation Committee. The committee works to analyze policies, industry\nstandards and regulatory activities related to proactive safety improvements\nand aircraft accident investigation. This will be Baker\u2019s first time serving on\nthe Executive Committee, he has served on GAMA&#8217;s Board of Directors since 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JoeBen Bevirt, Founder and CEO of Joby Aviation, and Roei\nGanzarski, CEO of magniX, will continue to serve as co-chairs of the Electric\nPropulsion and Innovation Committee (EPIC). The committee works to create an\nenvironment conducive to efficient design, production, operation, integration\nand maintenance of hybrid and electric propulsion aircraft, including eVTOLs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henry Brooks, President of Power &amp; Controls at Collins Aerospace,\nwill serve as chair of the Security Issues Committee. The committee works to\nestablish best practices for general aviation security and engages with\ngovernment agencies on security policies and regulatory requirements. This will\nbe Brooks\u2019 first time serving on the Executive Committee, he has served on\nGAMA&#8217;s Board of Directors since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Coleal, CEO of Incora, will extend his term as chair\nof the Airworthiness and Maintenance Policy Committee. The committee works with\nauthorities to promote appropriate regulations and policies for maintenance and\nrepair stations. Previously, Coleal served as chair of the Environment\nCommittee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maria Della Posta, President of Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada,\nwill continue to serve as chair of the Communications Committee. The committee\nworks to promote the general aviation industry and its benefits to the global\neconomy and air transportation system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tony Lefebvre, CEO of Signature Aviation, will extend his\nterm as chair of the Environment Committee. The committee works to develop and\nrepresent the industry\u2019s views on public policy affecting aviation related\nenvironmental issues worldwide, including CO2 emissions reductions, sustainable\naviation fuels, supersonic aircraft, and updates to the Business Aviation Commitment\non Climate Change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Trang, Vice President of Engineering and Flight\nOperations at Airbus Helicopters, will continue to serve as chair of the\nTechnical Policy Committee. The committee works with authorities on continuous\nimprovement of certification and validation processes and to develop and\nimplement effective standards and technical policies pertaining to the design,\ncertification, validation and production of general aviation products and\ncomponents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Van Den Langenbergh, President of Aviation Services at\nLuxaviation Group, will continue to serve as chair the European Leaders\nSteering Committee. The committee engages with senior European politicians and\npolicymakers to advocate for the interests of general aviation in Europe\nincluding regulatory changes, policy initiatives and communications strategies.\nPreviously, Van Den Langenbergh served as chair of the Airworthiness and\nMaintenance Policy Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyson Weihs, Co-Founder and CEO of ForeFlight, will again\nserve as chair of the Flight Operations Policy Committee. The committee works\nto ensure that an adequate air transportation infrastructure is available for\ngeneral aviation and addresses impediments to operations of general aviation\naircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chuck Wiplinger, President and CEO of Wipaire, will extend\nhis term as chair of the Policy and Legal Issues Committee. The committee\ntracks and analyzes and responds to legal developments, litigation trends and\npolicies presenting business and legal risks or opportunities to general\naviation manufacturers.
