Honda Aircraft Company today announced that it has marked a\nmajor milestone of delivering the 200th HondaJet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Honda Aircraft Company began its first deliveries of the\nHondaJet soon after the clean-sheet aircraft received its Type Certification\nfrom the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in December 2015. In May 2018,\nthe company introduced the HondaJet Elite, with an extended range of 1,437 nm,\nnew avionics features, and new styling. In May 2021, the company announced new\nupgrades to the design with the HondaJet Elite S, which increased the\naircraft’s maximum takeoff weight by 200 lbs. and added new avionics features\nto further expand operational capability and reduce pilot workload to maximize\nsafety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company also announced that the HondaJet Elite S was\nrecently honored with the 2021 Top Flight Award presented by Aviation\nInternational News (AIN) in the New Business Jet category. The 2021 Top Flight\nAwards recognize individuals, organizations, and technologies for excellence,\ninnovation, and service in business aviation and its related disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The HondaJet has been certified in over 13 countries, with\ntotal flight hours of over 98,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the HondaJet Elite S<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The HondaJet Elite S is the fastest, farthest and\nhighest-flying plane in its class. The HondaJet Elite S incorporates Honda\nAircraft’s many technological innovations, including the unique Over-The-Wing\nEngine Mount (OTWEM) configuration, Natural Laminar Flow (NLF) nose and wing,\nand composite fuselage. The aircraft is also powered by the GE Honda Aero\nEngines HF120.
