This will provide mission-critical connectivity to EGYPTAIR\u2019s headquarters and across more than 190 sites around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>SITA, as the main provider of network communications to EGYPTAIR, is providing a state-of-the-art network which will ensure secure and reliable connectivity to help increase operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement follows SITA\u2019s recent appointments to work with the Egyptian Airports Company (EAC) and Hurghada International Airport.<br \/>\n<!--break--><br \/>\nEGYPTAIR Holding Company\u2019s Chairman and CEO, Sherif Fathi, said: \u201cWe are constantly searching for ways to enhance our operational efficiency and with SITA\u2019s range of IP services, we have a communications solution that covers all of our domestic and international sites and connects them to our headquarters. SITA is unique in offering a complete solution that responds to all of our requirements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EGYPTAIR will benefit from a state-of-the art private network with a centralized and secured breakout to the internet and to EGYPTAIR hosts. In addition, SITA\u2019s ServiceNet will allow simple, fast and secure access to more than 20 third-party services from EGYPTAIR\u2019s existing IP VPN connections. As part of the five-year agreement, EGYPTAIR will also deploy SITA messaging services in order to exchange mission-critical information with its partners across the air transport community.<\/p>\n<p>Hani El-Assaad, SITA President, Middle East, India and Africa, said: \u201cOur solutions will enable EGYPTAIR to operate more effectively and efficiently. The technology will cover most of the airline\u2019s domestic and international sites; sales offices, back-offices, and check-in counters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSITA has experienced tremendous growth in Egypt in recent years, and we have helped to facilitate the strategic growth of many firms with innovative and creative solutions. This is a great time for SITA to work together with EGYPTAIR to support its business operations and improve its IT and communications to support its ambitious growth plans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EGYPTAIR has a strong network of routes throughout the Middle East, Africa and Europe and also flies to several Asian destinations and New York. The airline is in a growth phase and in 2014 carried close to nine million passengers.
