Hunter Presti<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunter has served on the Subcommittee staff since 2014\nand has worked on a number of legislative efforts that were signed into\nlaw.&nbsp; He was a key House drafter and\nnegotiator of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018, the longest and most\ncomprehensive reauthorization of federal aviation programs in more than 30\nyears.&nbsp; He also played an instrumental\nrole in the development and passage of the bipartisan Aircraft Certification\nReform and Accountability Act.&nbsp; Hunter\nhas also worked on multiple Federal Aviation Administration extension bills and\nnumerous other aviation-related laws and legislative provisions.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHunter has developed an extensive and thorough expertise\nacross all aviation issues,\u201d Graves said.&nbsp;\n\u201cHunter has been a valued member of the Committee staff for years, and\nhis leadership and guidance as staff director will be critical to our Committee\nMembers as we oversee and develop future aviation legislation, including the\nnext multi-year FAA reauthorization.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunter will be replacing Holly Woodruff Lyons, who is\nretiring at the end of the year, as the Aviation Subcommittee\u2019s Republican\nstaff director.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Ranking Member Sam Graves (R-MO) announced that T.
