{"id":20128,"date":"2021-11-28T23:01:20","date_gmt":"2021-11-28T23:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=20128"},"modified":"2021-11-28T23:04:06","modified_gmt":"2021-11-28T23:04:06","slug":"two-indiana-based-aviation-companies-merge-to-create-national-private-aviation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/indiana\/two-indiana-based-aviation-companies-merge-to-create-national-private-aviation\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Two Indiana-Based Aviation Companies Merge to Create National Private Aviation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Two central Indiana-based aviation companies with nationwide scope and influence announced their merger. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyjetaccess.com\/\">Jet Access<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstwing.com\/\">Eagle Creek Aviation<\/a> family of companies are joining forces to leverage their unique positions within the industry to create a national entity and brand capable of providing a full spectrum of private aviation needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The integrated company will employ over 380, including over\n110 professional pilots and 75 aircraft technicians, with the majority based at\nthe company\u2019s headquarters in greater Indianapolis. The company will also\noversee 10 fixed-based operators (FBOs) and run 11 flight schools across the\ncountry. With more than 50 planes in its fleet, the company will be the 12th\nlargest Part-135 private jet operator in the United States and the only wholly\nintegrated, full-service private aviation enterprise to offer all the following\nservices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Private aircraft charter<\/li><li>Wing Share joint aircraft ownership<\/li><li>FBO<\/li><li>Airport management<\/li><li>Aircraft sales and acquisitions<\/li><li>Aircraft management<\/li><li>Aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul<\/li><li>Aircraft rental<\/li><li>Avionics sales, installation, and repair<\/li><li>Corporate hangars<\/li><li>Flight training<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have strategically designed an integrated vertical\nbusiness model,\u201d said Jet Access President and CEO Quinn Ricker. \u201cThis will\ncreate unparalleled value for our customers, offering turn-key private jet\ntravel and services significantly below the cost of our competitors\u2014all on a\nnational scale.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ricker continued, \u201cThe combination of our two companies, and\nmore importantly the incredibly talented people that make them great, will\ncreate enormous opportunity within the marketplace to innovate, create jobs and\nbring value to our current and future customers, all while making Indianapolis\na national private aviation hub.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Hagans, Eagle Creek Aviation Founder and CEO, added,\n\u201cWe believe when we combine Eagle Creek\u2019s decades-long technical expertise and reputation\nin the industry with the innovation and growth orientation of Jet Access, we\nwill unleash the potential to become the country\u2019s preeminent provider of the\nfull scope of aviation services.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two central Indiana-based aviation companies with nationwide scope and influence announced their merger.
