During October, a record-breaking 769,524 passengers\ntraveled through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers.\nThis was an increase of 84 percent compared to October 2020 and 20 percent more\nthan the passenger traffic in October 2019. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is\nup 71 percent compared to last year. This is the sixth consecutive month that\nRSW has reported record-breaking passenger traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The traffic leader in October was Southwest with 173,552\ntotal passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Delta (157,161),\nAmerican (122,882), United (102,435) and JetBlue (66,809).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Southwest Florida International Airport had 7,092\naircraft operations; an increase of 32 percent compared to October 2020. Page\nField saw 13,684 operations, a 10 percent increase compared to October 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
