The recognition recognizes C\/SSgt Bushee\u2019s extraordinary\nperformance in the newest squadron in the Vermont Wing and distinguishes him as\nthe first Non-Commissioned Officer in that unit. His promotion was awarded\nalong with the Wright Brothers Award, the first of five milestone awards in the\nCAP cadet program. In addition to his cadet leadership duties, C\/SSgt Bushee\nwill receive training in professionalism, conflict resolution, stress\nmanagement, and other skills,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cC\/SSgt Kale Bushee epitomizes the Core Values we try to\nimpart to all of our cadets and senior members. He leads by example and has\nemerged as a cadet who was taught, but now is one who teaches\u2014a tremendous\nresponsibility,\u201d said Capt Hal Friday, Deputy Commander of Cadets in the\nBennington Composite Squadron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\/SSgt Bushee is a sophomore at Mount Anthony Union High\nSchool, where he is a nominee for the Hugh O&#8217;Brien Youth Leadership Seminar, a\nnational program that seeks to inspire and develop our global community of\nyouth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and\ninnovation. He was Bennington Composite Squadron\u2019s first CAC representative at\nVT Wing and remains the alternate in that position.
