France Air Expo, the only dedicated General Aviation, GA,\nexhibition in France, will double its footprint when it returns to France\u2019s\nsecond largest GA Airport, Lyon-Bron, June 9 to 11, 2022. After the great success of the 2021 event, organizers\nhave already received more requests and inquiries from exhibitors wanting to\nparticipate in the annual French exhibition, than they have for any of the\nprevious France Air Expos in the last ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manufacturers and service providers who have already\nconfirmed their 2022 participation include DAHER TBM, Kodiak, Cessna,\nBeechcraft, Textron, JMB Aviation, Diamond Aircraft, Bose, Tecnam, Piper\nAircraft, Elixir Aircraft, with many more expressing serious interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
France Air Expo, which is one of the leading general\naviation events in Europe, was the only exhibition of its type to take place in\nEurope this year despite the pandemic. Organized in partnership with key\nnational institutions of general aviation, including the French Aeronautical\nFederation (FFA), the French Microlight Aircraft Pilots Federation, (FFPLUM)\nand the French Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association (AOPA), amongst others,\nFrance Air Expo brings together the leading players in the sector, while offering\nvisitors the opportunity to discover more about the latest industrial\ninnovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the increased spotlight on sustainability in aviation,\nand manufacturers focusing on greener aviation the exhibition will once again\nincorporate an expanded dedicated area to showcase electric, hydrogen, hybrid\npropulsion and VTOL concepts and models. Technological advances that will\npromote the ecological transition of the general aviation sector towards a more\ncarbon-neutral future will also be showcased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The diversity of the exhibition is expected to attract\nowners, pilots, flying clubs, enthusiasts, and professionals from the world of\ngeneral aviation. After the USA, France is home to one of the world\u2019s most\nactive general aviation sectors with more than 50,000 pilots and 35,000\naircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lyon-Bron airport: a strategic choice <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event organizer, Adone Events, is pleased to return to\nLyon-Bron, as it is a preferred destination for a wealth of exhibitors and\naviation enthusiasts. The proximity to a number of large cities, some of which\nare just a 90-minute flight away by single-engine aircraft, and countries such\nas Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg enable international, as well as\nnational visitors, to easily attend the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lyon is France’s second-largest city and one of France\u2019s\nmajor conurbations when including Greater Lyon. It is home to two airports and\na high-speed train service which links the airport to the city centre in less\nthan ten minutes. In addition, a scheduled shuttle service operates between the\nstation and the airport.
