{"id":19868,"date":"2021-11-01T19:53:59","date_gmt":"2021-11-01T19:53:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=19868"},"modified":"2021-11-01T19:54:00","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T19:54:00","slug":"joseph-hennessy-named-integrated-operations-director-at-the-metropolitan-airports-commission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/minnesota\/joseph-hennessy-named-integrated-operations-director-at-the-metropolitan-airports-commission\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Joseph Hennessy Named Integrated Operations Director at the Metropolitan Airports Commission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Chad Leqve, vice president of management and operations at\nthe Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), has named Joseph Hennessy as the\norganization\u2019s first integrated operations director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Joseph-Hennessy.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19869\" width=\"185\" height=\"214\"\/><figcaption><em>Joseph Hennessy<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJoe Hennessy brings to the job a strong background in\naviation safety, management and collaborative process development,\u201d Leqve said.\n\u201cJoe\u2019s inclusive, data-driven, servant-leader approach to challenges and\nopportunities will be key to the success of the new Integrated Operations\nDepartment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That department is responsible for promoting\ncross-functional alignment, process optimization, communication and data driven\ndecision-making, with a particular focus on safety, efficiency and performance.\nAs director, Hennessy will oversee airfield operations, process integration and\noptimization, operation analysis and planning, airfield regulatory compliance,\nand technical operations training programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MAC\u2019s long-term plan includes development of an\nintegrated operations center, bringing together representatives from a\ncross-section of airport operational and public safety functions to anticipate\nand respond quickly to operational and customer experience needs. As integrated\noperations director, Hennessy will lead the new center when it is constructed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am greatly honored to be entrusted with shepherding\ndevelopment and management of the new Integrated Operations Department,\u201d\nHennessy said. \u201cThe combination of new technologies, meaningful data collection\nand sharing, and a highly collaborative and integrated approach to operations\nwill enable us to be as agile, efficient and productive as possible. Airports\nare highly dynamic in nature, and increased planning and coordination will\nenable us to anticipate and respond to needs quickly and effectively.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since March 2019, Hennessy has managed the MAC\u2019s Safety\nManagement System, leading development of an enterprise safety policy. He has\ncollaborated with the Risk Management office to integrate and strengthen risk\nmanagement and safety programs.
