In addition,\nIBAC thanks Lawrence \u201cFletch\u201d Fletcher who will be retiring this year after ten\nyears of serving in audit manager roles for both IS-BAH and IS-BAO Programs.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steven-Abreu-Hill.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19865\" width=\"145\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steven-Abreu-Hill.png 407w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steven-Abreu-Hill-194x300.png 194w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 145px) 100vw, 145px\" \/><figcaption><em>Steven Abreu-Hill<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry veteran, Lawrence Fletcher, joined IBAC in 2012 as\nthe IS-BAO audit manager. Fletch served his country in the US military, and\nlater provided consulting services to business aviation companies regarding\naircraft maintenance, pre-buy sales, and import\/export of aircraft. Fletch was\nwith ARG\/US as an auditor before coming to IBAC and is a graduate of\nEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He will be working with Steven during a\ntransition period.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an accredited IS-BAH auditor, Steven Abreu-Hill is an\naccomplished aviation and ground handling operations professional with 16 years\nof combined experience in emergency response, safety, security, environmental,\nand SMS program development. Steven earned both a B.S. degree in Applied\nMeteorology and M.S. degree in Aeronautics Safety and Management from\nEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Based in Houston, Texas, Steven helped\ncoordinate emergency management programs for Houston Hobby airport (HOU) and\nGeorge Bush International Airport (IAH) and serves as an emergency management\npoint of contact for FBOs at both HOU and IAH airports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry Yeomans, IS-BAH Program Director commented, \u201cMy\nextensive gratitude goes out to my friend and colleague as he prepares for his\nnext adventure at the end of the year. We accomplished much in both the IS-BAH\nand IS-BAO programs because of his dedication and professionalism and\nappreciate his commitment to advancing these safety standards. Many thanks and\nbest wishes, Fletch!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry added, \u201cWe also want to send out a warm welcome to\nSteven Abreu-Hill from everyone at IBAC and I look forward to working with him.\nHe is well versed on ground handling operations and the IS-BAH program, and he\nwill hit the ground running to fill Fletch\u2019s shoes.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kurt Edwards, IBAC Director General said, \u201cI wish Fletch all\nthe best in his retirement and would like to share a heartfelt thank-you for\nhis work over the past decade. I am confident that Steven\u2019s auditing experience\nand knowledge of the ground handling community will serve him well in his new\nrole.
