The Manassas Regional Airport and Airport Commission has received\nthe Mid-Atlantic Region Civil Air Patrol Frank G. Brewer Memorial Aerospace Award\nin the Organization Category of the Year Award. This honor is recognizing the outstanding\ncontributions to the advancement of youth in aerospace activities. The award was\npresented in person by Commander of Civil Air Patrol\u2019s Virginia Wing, Colonel Elizabeth\n\u201cLiz\u201d Sydow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe CAP Frank G. Brewer Award is one of the highest awards\nthat the Civil Air Patrol can bestow upon an outside organization, and it\nmotivates the Airport Staff and the Commission to further our outreach to local\nyouth, to expose them to the many current and emerging career opportunities in\nAerospace,\u201d said Airport Commission Chairman, Charles Lemmon. \u201cThe relationship\nthat the Airport has with Civil Air Patrol is one we value greatly. We are\ntruly honored by this award, and we thank them for their continued support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
