She will begin her new role at the end of this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am honored to be selected as AMAC\u2019s next President &amp;\nCEO at such a pivotal moment in history,\u201d said Ms. Wimbush. \u201cThe organization\nconnects my early passion, interest and education in aviation along with my\ndedication to creating a positive, lasting impact for women and disadvantaged\ncommunities. I am ready to serve and prepared to lead and position AMAC for the\nfuture, working with the AMAC Board of Directors and National Office to be the\nvoice at the table and to create opportunities and economic mobility for our\nmembers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Wimbush most recently served as the Deputy Director of\nthe Baltimore City Mayor\u2019s Office of Children &amp; Family Success. She was\nresponsible for advancing all of the work across the agency including building\nand implementing the strategies and systems to operationalize the City\u2019s $100\nmillion eviction prevention program in response to the global pandemic as well\nas leading the agency\u2019s contracting, human resources, grant compliance and\nequity strategy. Previously, Eboni served as Chief of Staff at Baltimore City\nDepartment of Transportation, where she was responsible for the Office of\nCommunications, the Office of Legislative Affairs and External Affairs.\nAdditionally, she served as a key advisor to the Director in overseeing the\nday-to-day management, operations and performance activities of the agency\u2019s\n1,250 employees and $250 million budget. Prior to joining Baltimore City and\nover a span of two decades, Eboni had a distinguished private sector career\nwith Fortune 500 companies including FedEx Corporation, Johnson Controls and\nSiemens where she held leadership roles gaining a depth and breadth of\nknowledge and experience in developing and building energy infrastructure\nprojects and delivering outcomes. Eboni holds a Bachelor of Science in Business\nAdministration with a concentration in Management from Embry Riddle\nAeronautical University. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia and is an active\nmember of Alfred Street Baptist Church where she serves as the President of the\nCollege Ministry. Eboni is a proud parent of one son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEboni is no stranger to AMAC and brings a wealth of\ntransportation and related leadership and management experience and education.\nI have been able to witness Eboni\u2019s work over the last few years and am very\nexcited to have her take the helm of AMAC. I am confident that she will bring\nexceptional leadership to the AMAC National Office and lead our efforts to\nexecute AMAC\u2019s mission.
