The aircraft, N888XY, is branded SEXYjet and is managed by Metropolitan Aviation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe unique and stylish paint scheme applied to this Gulfstream GV will unquestionably make it one of the most eye-catching aircraft in the world,\u201d says George Bajo, a Technical Sales Rep with Duncan Aviation. \u201cIt was also one of the most complex paint schemes we have ever completed.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The owner\u2019s personal designer and Duncan Aviation completions designers worked together to make the original concept applicable to aviation, meeting FAA requirements for things like registration numbers, placarding, and paint reflectance values.<br \/>\n<!--break--><br \/>\n\u201cOf course, a design on paper goes nowhere without an extremely talented team of paint technicians who can bring it to life,\u201d Bajo continues. \u201cIn this case, through more than 3,000 hours of hard, physical labor, our paint team created a stunning paint scheme that will make a statement everywhere it goes.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The paint products used for the two-tone aesthetic of the project were two primary systems: Sherwin Williams satin black base with satin clear coat and Axalta Chromalusion\u2019s \u201ccolor changing\u201d base coat color called Perfect Jade followed by a gloss clear coat. <\/p>\n<p>To see a time-lapse video of this beautiful paint project, go to http:\/\/www.duncanaviation.aero\/videos\/unique-gv<br \/>\n\u201cOur client wanted an aircraft that stood out among other aircraft,\u201d Bajo says. \u201cI believe we achieved that goal.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The Gulfstream V was recently added to Metropolitan Aviation\u2019s charter fleet and is now available for international and domestic charter reservations. Metropolitan Aviation is based at Manassas Airport and is the largest private jet management and charter company headquartered in the mid-Atlantic. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;SEXYjet is receiving an enthusiastic response from the charter community already,&#8221; says Metropolitan Aviation owner and CEO Alan R.
