The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today\nannounced Kerry Lynch, Aviation International News (AIN) senior editor \u2013\nbusiness aviation, as the recipient of this year\u2019s David W. Ewald Platinum Wing\nAward for her lifetime achievement and excellence in journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gold Wing Award for Journalism Excellence was presented\nto Business Jet Traveler (BJT) contributor James Wynbrandt for his article:\n\u201cFlying in the Age of COVID-19,\u201d published in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lynch joined AIN in December 2014 after a 25-year career\nwith the Aviation Week. During her time there, she steered The Weekly of\nBusiness Aviation for five years and also oversaw business aviation content on\nthe Aviation Week Intelligence Network. In 2012 she additionally became the\nWashington columnist for Business & Commercial Aviation magazine. Lynch\nalso spent nearly five years as the Washington columnist for Aviation Week\u2019s\nOverhaul & Maintenance monthly magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She received the 2003 NBAA Gold Wing Award for her Business\n& Commercial Aviation article, \u201cGhost Town On The Potomac,\u201d and was the\n2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association\u2019s Aviation\nJournalism Excellence Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
