Wheels Up announced the appointment of Vinayak Hegde as\nPresident. The move comes during a time of historic demand and revenue growth\nand on the heels of its public listing in July 2021.   Since\nMay 2021, Hegde has served as Chief Marketplace Officer, responsible for\nleveraging innovative and proprietary technology to both grow and expand its\ncustomer base beyond the traditional membership model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its next-generation technology-driven platform, the\nWheels Up Marketplace is expanding the addressable market and increasing the\naccessibility of private air travel from hundreds of thousands to millions of\nconsumers. Hegde will continue to report directly to Wheels Up Chairman and CEO\nKenny Dichter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hegde has spent over two decades leading the technology,\nmarketing, and product development sectors within world-class organizations,\nincluding Amazon and Airbnb. He has been recognized as one of the early\ninnovators to combine data, product, engineering, marketing, and revenue\nmanagement to help companies scale their consumer internet offerings, all of\nwhich perfectly position him to lead the team and harmonize all functions of\nthe organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his expanded role, Vinayak will focus on developing and\nimplementing a seamless and holistic approach to the customer, from sales to\nthe management of our members\u2019 and customers\u2019 experience and loyalty.  Vinayak will drive world-class execution\nthrough ownership of enterprise wide KPI\u2019s across Sales, Revenue, Product, and\nOperations that measure our performance and drive accountability.  Additionally, he will also lead key strategic\ninitiatives across the enterprise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
