This move allows Mead &amp; Hunt to expand its sustainability services while simultaneously giving Ambient Energy a larger platform to serve current and future clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been searching for ways to expand the\nsustainability practice of our firm,\u201d said Andy Platz, CEO of Mead &amp; Hunt.\n\u201cWe have always worked to do the right thing and do what makes sense. Not only\ndoes incorporating sustainable solutions into our work make good business\nsense\u2014it is also imperative as we face a growing population and a changing\nclimate.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2004, Ambient Energy began as a boutique\nconsulting firm specializing in sustainable design and energy consulting and\ncommissioning services. Their focus has been on helping clients achieve\nresilient, regenerative, and sustainable goals in new and existing buildings,\nimproving occupant comfort, and reducing utility bills. The firm serves diverse\nmarkets, including aviation, transportation, K-12 and higher education,\nlaboratory, multi-family, federal, and state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambient Energy\u2019s experience in commissioning, sustainable\ndesign, and building performance engineering will help expand Mead &amp; Hunt\u2019s\nservices provided for clients throughout the country.&nbsp; Specializing in zero net energy project\nperformance, greenhouse gas emissions analysis, sustainability planning, and\nelectrification planning, Ambient Energy now has a further geographic and\nmarket reach to positively impact climate change.
