This\nmonth experienced the highest level of passenger traffic that the state has\nseen since the Covid-19 pandemic began and continues the monthly positive trend\nof growing airline passenger demand.&nbsp;\nMultiple airports within the state have also reached or are close to\nreaching pre-pandemic passenger demand levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One example of the extraordinary ongoing airline passenger\nrecovery can be seen at the state\u2019s largest commercial service airport, Hector\nInternational Airport in Fargo.&nbsp; This\npast month, the airport provided service for 42,871 passenger boardings which\nis only 1% lower than their month of July passenger record of 43,437 that was\nset in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe July airline boarding numbers have exceeded our\nexpectations and we are excited to see multiple airports within the state have\nreached or are close to reaching pre-pandemic demand levels.\u201d stated Kyle\nWanner, Executive Director of the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission. \u201cWe hope\nthat the demand for air travel is sustained and continues to trend in a\npositive direction as we move into the next half of 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>North Dakota\u2019s eight commercial service airports posted a total of 92,922 airline passenger boardings during the month of July.
