Lawrence Krauter<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lawrence J. Krauter, A.A.E., AICP, Chief Executive Officer,\nSpokane International Airport, took office this week as Chair of the American\nAssociation of Airport Executives (AAAE) for 2021-22. Founded in 1928, AAAE is\nthe world\u2019s largest professional organization representing individuals who work\nat public-use commercial and general aviation airports. Other key appointments\nto the Association\u2019s Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Policy Review\nCouncil were also finalized during the 93rd Annual AAAE Conference &\nExposition in Las Vegas, which was held July 11-13 and hosted by McCarran\nInternational Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAAAE is fortunate to have another exceptional group of\ntalented airport executives who have agreed to devote their time, energy, and\nintellect to help guide the Association and our industry past the pandemic to\nthe brighter future that lies ahead,\u201d AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli said.\n\u201cOn behalf of the AAAE team, I extend our sincere appreciation to these leaders\nfor their tireless commitment to our organization and the airport industry and\ncongratulate them for the recognition they have earned from their peers across\nthe country.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Krauter was one of six Executive Committee members elected\nby the AAAE membership. He succeeds Kelly L. Campbell, A.A.E., Executive\nDirector, Aviation, Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, who becomes\nFirst Past Chair. Second Past Chair is Tory Richardson, A.A.E., President and\nChief Executive Officer, Gerald R. Ford International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
