These dedicated aviation instructors staff the Pilot Proficiency Center at Oshkosh each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe will be providing the same quality simulation mission\nexercises and scenarios featured at Oshkosh, but in your home or at a select\nflight training center near you,\u201d said Radek Wyrzykowski, EAA Manager of Flight\nProficiency. \u201cWe’ll connect you with experienced instructors who have trained\nwith proven simulation missions and state-of-the-art remote training tools.\nIt\u2019s designed to improve piloting and decision-making skills for pilots\nregardless of their experience level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n To participate, pilots unable to come to the Pilot Proficiency Center at Oshkosh can use one of two options<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00c2\u00b7 Remote\ninstruction from your own home if you own a home-based Redbird ATD simulator.\nRequirements include an up-to-date Redbird simulator and a computer video\ncamera connected to a Zoom meeting platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00c2\u00b7 Fly at any\nof the 14 flight training centers throughout the U.S. that are equipped with\nRedbird simulator systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
