We look forward\nto working with NASA and a broad range of local experts to help Minnesota plan\nfor these new technologies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MnDOT-NASA partnership will include a series of\nworkshops where MnDOT and stakeholders from across the state work with NASA\u2019s\nAdvanced Air Mobility team to identify areas of opportunity and concern\nregarding Advanced Air Mobility integration and discuss strategies for future\nengagement and planning. Workshop participants will include partners from local\ngovernments, airport authorities and operators, universities, vehicle and\nsubsystem manufacturers, infrastructure providers, workforce development\norganizations and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series of five workshops will be facilitated by NASA and\nare set to begin in June 2021. The workshops will address many topics related\nto AAM \u2013 from identifying a common set of terms to use in AAM planning efforts,\nto evaluating criteria that might be used to develop future \u201cvertiports\u201d for\nvertical takeoff and landing aircraft \u2013 and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minnesota is one of five government entities chosen to\nparticipate in aviation planning workshops with NASA.
