{"id":18627,"date":"2021-06-08T14:13:17","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T14:13:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=18627"},"modified":"2021-06-08T14:14:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T14:14:32","slug":"2021-fly-kansas-air-tour-set-for-september-23-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/kansas\/2021-fly-kansas-air-tour-set-for-september-23-25\/%20","title":{"rendered":"2021 Fly Kansas Air Tour set for Sept. 23-25"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pilots will take to the skies and see the state on Thursday,\nSept. 23, to Saturday, Sept. 25, for the annual 2021 Fly Kansas Air Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kansas Commission on Aerospace Education (KCAE) and the Kansas Department of Transportation Aviation Division have set the route this year to include stops in Wellington, Fort Scott, Ottawa, Lawrence, Clay Center, Phillipsburg, Salina, Concordia, and the Beech Factory Airport in Wichita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration for the event will open online on July 1. The\nlink and other details will be available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flykansas.org\">www.flykansas.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fly Kansas Air Tour has been a fall staple for Kansas\npilots since KCAE reconvened the event in 2008 to commemorate the original 1928\ntour. The Fly Kansas Air Tour showcases what makes Kansas the Air Capitol of\nthe World by giving pilots the opportunity to visit unique airports, support\naerospace education by meeting with students and community members, have a\nfirsthand look at industrial development and network with other aviators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tour has expanded from the original four planes to dozens of pilots visiting local airports across the state.
