She has led\nteams on numerous large-scale studies and served as a trusted advisor to state\naviation organizations for many years, as well as to the FAA during the\ndevelopment of the agency\u2019s research portfolio for aviation planning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTRB has contributed significantly to my aviation career,\nkeeping me at the forefront of the latest research, Keidel-Adams told the State\nAviation Journal. \u201cI\u2019ve enjoyed attending over 20 years of Annual Meetings and\nvarious aviation committee meetings. Each meeting has meant an opportunity to\nspend time reconnecting with so many professionals and being introduced to new\nstudents and young professionals, all of which have enhanced my career.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her career, she has led master plans for commercial\nservice and general aviation airports, economic impact analyses, air service\nevaluations, activity forecasting, public and stakeholder outreach, and\ndatabase management tool development. Keidel-Adams has also participated in\nmore than 50 system planning assignments in more than 30 states. In addition to\nher system planning expertise, she has participated in planning assignments in\nall the regional airport offices of the FAA, providing her with an\nunderstanding of the technical and regulatory issues facing airports across the\nU.S. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She served as the Chair for the 2020 ACC\/AAAE Airport\nPlanning, Design, and Construction Symposium, and is Chair of the\nTransportation Research Board\u2019s Aviation Group and member of TRB\u2019s Technical\nActivities Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pam Keidel-Adams, National Aviation Practice Leader for Kimley-Horn, was recognized in TRNews by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) for more than 30 years of leadership in aviation.
