Through a recently signed partnership, Avianca\nCargo and Airlink transported 480,000 surgical face masks from Miami to Mexico\nCity, contributing to the local government\u2019s efforts to protect the population\nagainst COVID-19.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ADRA-8edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18116\" width=\"324\" height=\"182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ADRA-8edit.jpg 700w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ADRA-8edit-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 324px) 100vw, 324px\" \/><figcaption> <em>ADRA team members getting shipments of masks ready for on the ground delivery.  <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the latest epidemiological update, Mexico City\naccounts for more than 25% of all the cumulative COVID-19 cases in the country.\nThe face masks, donated by Airlink\u2019s partner ADRA International, will provide\ncritical assistance to the community as the country is ramping up its\nvaccination campaign to curb the spread of the epidemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAvianca Cargo is committed to supporting humanitarian\nrelief operations by transporting life-saving cargo to curb the impact of\nCOVID-19\u201d said Kurt Schosinsky, Avianca Cargo Managing Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with Avianca Cargo is a central element in\nour efforts to support humanitarian responses in Latin America,\u201d said Airlink\nPresident and CEO, Steven J.
