{"id":18081,"date":"2021-03-30T13:33:32","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T13:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=18081"},"modified":"2021-03-30T13:33:35","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T13:33:35","slug":"nata-and-tsi-continue-to-inspire-excellence-in-safety-management-with-new-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/national-news\/nata-and-tsi-continue-to-inspire-excellence-in-safety-management-with-new-series\/%20","title":{"rendered":"NATA and TSI Continue to Inspire Excellence in Safety Management with New Series"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and the\nU.S. Department of Transportation\u2019s, Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) have\nannounced the launch of the virtual safety management \u201cInspire Series.\u201d The\nInspire Series complements the in-person TSI\/NATA Air Transport Safety\nManagement Certification\u2122 (ATSM) course by providing a conduit to continue\nimportant safety management conversations with world-class subject matter\nexperts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first installment of these monthly webinars will take\nplace on April 15, 2021, featuring Dr. Tony Kern who will cover \u201cLearning Again\nfor the First Time: The Gift of Lost Proficiency.\u201d Attendees receive a digital\ncertificate from the U.S. DOT\/NATA, as well as .5 CEU toward Aviation Safety\nOfficer qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs the industry moves toward Safety Management Systems\n(SMS), NATA is pleased to partner with the DOT and TSI to provide access to\nexperts, resources, and training that assist our members with SMS program\ninception, and then throughout its evolution,\u201d stated Michael France, NATA\nManaging Director, Safety and Training. \u201cWe are thrilled by the excellent\nfeedback on the value of the ATSM to our members, as well as the opportunity to\nbuild on that success with this virtual opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upcoming topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Creating Safety Leaders from the Frontline Team<\/li><li>Understanding &amp;
