{"id":18077,"date":"2021-03-30T00:44:23","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T00:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=18077"},"modified":"2021-03-30T00:44:25","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T00:44:25","slug":"nbaa-recognizes-mike-nichols-20-years-of-industry-association-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/nbaa-recognizes-mike-nichols-20-years-of-industry-association-service\/%20","title":{"rendered":"NBAA Recognizes Mike Nichols\u2019 20 Years of Industry, Association Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today\nannounced that Senior Vice President, Strategy and Innovation Mike Nichols,\nCAM, CAE, is retiring April 30, 2021, after nearly 20 years of service with the\nassociation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"250\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Mike-Nicols.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18078\"\/><figcaption><em>Mike Nichols<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Nichols currently leads the NBAA Strategy &amp; Innovation\nDivision, which is charged with creating opportunities for emerging\ntechnologies relevant to business aviation; providing innovative strategy\nperspectives to enhance existing programs, products and services; and promoting\na culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the association. He also\noversees NBAA\u2019s professional development initiatives and provides overall\ndirection for the association\u2019s many educational offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMike\u2019s tireless work ethic and unwavering commitment to\nexcellence have had a major impact on our association,\u201d said NBAA President and\nCEO Ed Bolen. \u201cHis service over the past two decades has made us better in\ncountless ways.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nichols joined the association in June 2003 as manager of\ntax and finance issues. Subsequent positions included director of tax,\neconomics and operational services; vice president of operations, education and\neconomics; and vice president of operational excellence and professional\ndevelopment.
