During his tenure, the company\ndesigned and introduced the newest M-class flagship product, the M600.&nbsp; Simon\u2019s leadership and guidance were\ninstrumental in paving the way for the launch of Garmin\u2019s Emergency Autoland\ntechnology, known as HALO \u00ae on the new M600 SLS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt has been an honor and privilege leading Piper Aircraft\nthrough a transformative journey, from a legacy aircraft manufacturer to the\nfirst general aviation manufacturer to certify an autoland equipped general\naviation aircraft\u201d, Caldecott said. \u201cWe strengthened the leadership team with\nnew talent, made major facility improvements to make a safer workplace and\nstrengthened relations with the community as well as with major suppliers. I am\nenormously proud of the dedicated team at Piper and our global independent Dealership\nnetwork.
