This role is responsible for supporting the\nAssociation\u2019s members and staff while implementing communication strategies in\nsupport of the organization\u2019s educational offerings, government relations and\nadvocacy work, conference promotion, publications, and social media channels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I am thrilled to join the NASAO team and excited for\nthe opportunity to tell the story of state aviation agencies, their\nconstituents, and their role in national aviation. I am looking forward to\nlearning all that I can about the aviation industry and combining my knowledge\nand skills to effectively communicate our message.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining NASAO, Desiree worked at the George\nWashington University as a Media Relations Associate. At GW, Bascomb oversaw\ndaily university news clips and media mentions. She also worked at Rutgers\nUniversity-Newark in their Office of Communications.
