To support that launch,\nthe company plans to establish a new central Indiana office and create up to 85\nnew, high-wage jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investments come from a combination of angel investors and a\ncrowdsourcing campaign that closes April 30, 2021. DRONEDEK holds two U.S.\npatents for its sophisticated mailbox, which is designed to accept drone\ndeliveries of any type, including food deliveries that it can keep hot or cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t be more pleased with the response,\u201d said\nDRONEDEK CEO Dan O\u2019Toole. \u201cWe\u2019ll be announcing our new headquarters location\nalong with some other significant advances in the next few months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has offered\nDRONEDEK up to $1.7 million in conditional tax credits based on the company\u2019s\nplans to create up to 85 new, high-wage jobs in Indiana by the end of 2025.\nThese tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to\nclaim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCentral Indiana\u2019s tech ecosystem is thriving and innovative\ncompanies like DRONEDEK are taking notice, and are growing and innovating\nhere,\u201d said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. \u201cDRONEDEK\u2019s\ntechnology will make a positive impact on the world, and the company is also\nmaking a positive impact directly in the community by creating new,\nhigh-quality job opportunities for Hoosiers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based in Indianapolis, DRONEDEK is one of the first\ncompanies in the world to focus on drone delivery for commercial and\nresidential use.
