Drones also are prohibited around the Tampa Riverwalk\nfor the NFL Super Bowl Experience during the days leading up to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will establish a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/superbowl\/media\/Super_Bowl_LV_Flight_Advisory_FINAL.pdf  https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/superbowl\/\">Temporary Flight Restriction<\/a> (TFR) on game day that will prohibit drones within a 30-nautical-mile radius of the stadium up to 18,000 feet in altitude. The TFR will be in place from 5:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drones are also prohibited for one nautical mile around\nRaymond James Stadium on February 7 from 10 a.m. until the TFR for the game\ntakes effect. Further details are available in the drone TFR (PDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAA will restrict drone flights for roughly two\nnautical miles around Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park and Curtis Hixon\nWaterfront Park up to an altitude of 2,000 feet from January 29 to February 6\nduring event hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilots and drone operators who enter the TFRs without\npermission could face civil penalties that exceed $30,000 and potential\ncriminal prosecution for flying drones in the TFR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Detailed\ninformation for general aviation and drone pilots is available on the FAA&#8217;s\nSuper Bowl LV web page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drone pilots should check the FAA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/recreational_fliers\/where_can_i_fly\/b4ufly\/\">B4UFly<\/a> app to determine when and where they may fly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Raymond James Stadium in Tampa is a \u201cNo Drone Zone\u201d for Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7, 2021.
